It’s always a treat when we have the opportunity to become friends with our couples before the wedding day. After a rockin’ engagement session in San Diego with Ning and Tim, we discovered we had so many friends in common that it felt like we had known each other all along! It was a beautiful day in the Bay Area, and we could feel the excitement in the room as we greeted our bride and groom that morning, both anxiously waiting to see each other on their wedding day. We had come to know Tim as a passionate boxing fanatic, but when he saw Ning walk across that bridge looking as radiant as she’s ever been, we saw a few tears of joy that surprised even his blushing bride (smile).

After a pleasant (and totally awesome) stroll in the park with our newly weds, we joined their guests at the Pacific Athletic Club for a lovely reception. Though it may be out of the ordinary to host a party at a gym, they made everybody feel right at home by providing plenty of cozy pashminas for the ladies and even a milk n’ cookies station to share one of their favorite treats! As the celebrations ensued, you could tell everyone in the room was overjoyed for the happy couple, and we all couldn’t wait to see where this new beginning would take them. Congratulations, Ning and Tim! Hope we’ll meet again soon for some good food and great company (smile).
