It had been years since we photographed Melissa and John’s wedding when we all lived on the east coast. What a pleasure it was to get together again, put on that old wedding dress, and relive the magic of being a bride in one of the most beautiful buildings in California! We had such a good time hanging out with our old friends without the stresses and timeline of a wedding day, and it was clear that Melissa was thorougly enjoying getting all dressed up again (John, thanks for being such a good sport!). Even though they’ve been long since newlyweds, I’m sure they didn’t mind all the congratulatory shouts and honks as they wandered through San Francisco City Hall and the Palace of Fine Arts that afternoon (smile). There’s always a reason to celebrate love!
