Jennifer and Andy are no ordinary couple. From the moment they met, life was never the same. Who else proposes to the woman of his dreams right after knocking out his two front teeth? This adventurous couple chose a great venue to tie the knot. They wanted a fun, outdoorsy, animal-friendly location with, of course, great food. So there was no better place than Blue Hill at Stone Barns in upstate New York.
It’s not every day that we meet a bride who is willing to stick her arm through an electric fence (in a stunning Vera Wang wedding dress) just to feed a cow, or a groom who would jump into a pig pen in his wedding tux to pet a pig (which we later found out was an aggressive beast!). But it’s these little things that make Jennifer and Andy so unique, and that much more fun to be around. We had such a great time wandering around the farm with them (and their cute puppy, Pepper!)—Jennifer even had a fabulous pair of blue Prada sneakers for trekking around the farm! It was a beautiful wedding from beginning to end, with plenty of “Andy moments” to make everybody’s day that much brighter.

The ceremony space in the Hayloft transformed into a decadent space for great food and company. Besides all the farm-grown, grass-fed, organic food everyone was enjoying, there was also a jazz trio setting the mood for a splendid evening. It was elegant, sophisticated, and delightful. And then…the cake came out. And at that point, the room somehow went wild over its neat little details. You’ll just have to see for yourself! They ended the night dancing away to one of our favorite New York bands from Hank Lane. At the end of the day, we knew for sure that all this was just the beginning of Jennifer and Andy’s greatest adventures to come.
