Some of the most amazing spaces are in the most unexpected places. Back when we first moved to California, we lived about five minutes away from this cute little property where Jenny and Rob would tie the knot. We never knew such a gem was hiding in our backyard! With a great sense of style, Jenny planned a romantic, summer garden party at Twin Oaks Garden Estate, and picked out the perfect, ruffly white dress to make her grand entrance. Seeing how happy they were at their First Look, we knew this day would be full of joy and absolute bliss. Having a chic gray and yellow color scheme makes everything seem all the more delightful, too!

The estate had one of the most incredible bridal suites…ever. You’d never know this used to be an old schoolhouse! With antique furniture and vintage dress forms delicately placed around the room, it was a charming boudoir certainly fit for the fashionable bride! We walked through the quiet gardens with our bride and groom and instantly forgot we were only in San Marcos. A place like this definitely makes for a magical walk down the aisle.
Jenny and Rob’s dinner celebration was prepared under a draped tent, with tables set like an English tea party. Stacks of charmingly mismatched dishes and jars of sangria wine jelly graced each place setting, and cute little chalkboard signs featured sweet sayings the bride and groom wrote to each other. Of course, no tea party is complete without a decadent display of desserts; in this case, a doughnut buffet! To top it all off, the German-Chinese wedding couple chose a nutcracker and a Chinese doll as their cake topper. Best…idea…ever.
